Dr. Kahn, the Dean of the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at the University of Las Vegas, is also outspoken about his support of Dr. Woodson’s work through Colorderm Academy. Dr. Kahn also speaks on Dr. Woodson’s ability to guide students in their journey to becoming physicians due to his own experience as well as his experience as an Admissions Committee member at the medical school. For the past year, I've had the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Woodson as a Medical Scribe in his Dermatology clinic. Beyond his significant expertise and knowledge in Dermatology, Dr. Woodson is one of the most dedicated, attentive, and compassionate doctors that I've had the pleasure of meeting and working with. He not only cares about the wellbeing of his patients, but of students that are pursuing a career in healthcare. I have been fortunate enough to witness firsthand how much Dr. Woodson invests into the new generation of healthcare professionals and how supportive he is of the dreams of the students that he meets. He truly listens to the needs and desires of his students and does whatever he can to get students closer to their dreams. Working with Dr. Woodson and being a part of Colorderm Academy has taught me so much about what it means to be a healthcare professional and has inspired me to become a better nurse and do what I can to support other students.
